Thermo King Repair in Coeur d'Alene

A reefer that quits on the Idaho side of the state line should not mean waiting on a shop across the border. We run mobile Thermo King repair throughout Coeur d'Alene and the Kootenai County corridor, and our trucks are on I-90 every week. Most calls we take here are roadside or at the yard, because a unit that fails at a dock in Post Falls does not have time to sit in a queue. We diagnose on site and get the unit running the same day whenever parts allow.

Idaho Fleets We Serve

Produce haulers, regional carriers, and owner operators moving between Spokane and Missoula all run this corridor, and every one of them needs a shop that answers at two in the morning. We cover Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, and Rathdrum, plus the surrounding Kootenai County communities. Our shop sits just across the line in Spokane Valley, close enough that an emergency call does not turn into an all day wait.

Every Thermo King Unit, Truck and Trailer

We service the full Thermo King lineup. Trailer units including the Precedent C-600, S-600, and G-600, the SLX and SLXi series, and the newer Advancer platform. Truck units across the T-Series and V-Series. If your fleet runs CYCLE-SENTRY or a TriPac auxiliary power unit, we service those too. Because our shop also repairs Carrier and distributes KingTec, our technicians see these systems side by side every week, which is what tells you where each model tends to fail.

Emergency Service Around the Clock

Refrigeration does not fail politely. A unit runs long, ices up, throws a high discharge pressure alarm, or will not hold setpoint on a hot afternoon. We answer emergency calls at any hour because a warm trailer is a countdown. Our service trucks carry common belts, sensors, filters, and refrigerant, so a large share of Idaho calls finish in a single visit.

Diagnostics, Not Guesswork

An alarm code tells you where to look, not what to fix. A charging fault or a low coolant alarm can trace back to something entirely different, and swapping parts against a code gets expensive fast. Our technicians read the whole system, from the microprocessor and sensors through the compressor, condenser, and the airflow moving through the box.

Areas We Serve

Spokane, Spokane Valley, Airway Heights, Coeur d'Alene, and Post Falls, plus the surrounding Spokane County and Kootenai County communities.

Thermo King Repair Questions

Do you come to me, or do I bring the unit in?

Both. Most repairs happen on site at your yard, the dock, or the roadside. For larger jobs we can also handle the work at our Spokane Valley shop on Thierman.

Do I have to use a Thermo King dealer for repairs?

No. Any qualified shop can service your unit. We are an independent shop, which means no dealer appointment queue and no trip across town. We come to the truck, usually the same day.

What Thermo King units do you work on?

Trailer units including Precedent C-600, S-600 and G-600, the SLX and SLXi series, and the newer Advancer platform. Truck units across the T-Series and V-Series. We also service CYCLE-SENTRY and TriPac auxiliary power units. If you are not sure what you have, call with the model number and we will tell you straight.

Can you diagnose a Thermo King alarm code over the phone?

Often we can narrow it down. Call us with the code and what the unit is doing and we will tell you whether it is something you can clear yourself or something that needs a technician on site.

Do you service other brands?

Yes. We service Carrier, KingTec, Daikin and Zanotti, Copeland, and Heat-Craft as well.
